Static Base Access Platforms
The Deck Riders are static base access platforms which sit on a steel ‘sled’. The sled can be craned into any position quickly and easily owing to the lifting points on it. It has been specifically designed for the Steel Erection Industry, in order to cater to their “Working at Height” regulations. Theses static base platforms have a base frame that incorporates a variable width facility to cater for differing pitches of profiled steelwork.

They are used at a much earlier stage of construction because of their low weight. These access platforms reduce reliance on waiting for the slab floor to achieve sufficient load bearing strength as they allow you to work off the prepared steelwork prior to laying the concrete slab. This allows the upper floor steel assembly to continue whilst lower levels are freed for other tasks. This results in making steel erection swifter and more efficient. They can be operated using battery, mains, diesel, ‘Bi-Energy’ (e.g. battery & diesel).
